    FMA encourages people to get their KiwiSaver fighting fit during Money Week

    The FMA has launched its plans for Money Week 2015. This year the FMA wants people to complete an online health check of their KiwiSaver by answering five simple questions to make sure they are tuned in to their KiwiSaver investment.

    Consultation on KiwiSaver fees methodology

    KiwiSaver members will be able to see the dollar cost of the fees they are paying in their annual statements next year. The Ministry of Business and Innovation and Employment (MBiE) is currently amending the Financial Markets Conduct Regulations so that individual members’ total fees must be disclosed in annual statements in dollar values, from March 2018.

    KiwiSaver continues to grow - FMA continues to push providers on customer engagement

    The FMA’s annual KiwiSaver report based on returns as at 31 March 2017 shows total assets were up $7 billion from $33.8 billion in 2016. Investment returns of $2.7 billion were more than double those of 2016, and are close to the previous record $3 billion, reported in 2015.
