Smart Financial Markets

The FMA has received a report that representatives from Smart Financial Markets are cold-calling New Zealand residents, claiming to be dually registered in Switzerland and New Zealand, with the registration number 90/353. Smart Financial Markets are not registered to provide financial services in New Zealand and we have therefore formed the view that this entity bears the hallmarks of a scam. We also note that Smart Financial Pty Ltd, an Australian registered company with a similar name, has confirmed on its website to have no association with Smart Financial Markets.
