FMA warning notices and alerts

We add warnings and alerts once we have enough information to make us think investors may be at risk. Our warnings alert investors, censure the business or individual concerned, and help others to understand the standards of behaviour we expect.

Once on our lists, businesses or individuals regularly change their name. If you can’t find a name, it’s not a guarantee they are safe. Read our steps to protect yourself  to learn how best to avoid scams.

If you are concerned about a business/individual you are dealing with (particularly if you are having difficulty accessing funds, or if you suspect they are not legitimate) please contact the FMA.
