Minister

The minister responsible for the FMA is the Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, currently the Hon Paul Goldsmith.

The FMA's briefing to the incoming minister (October 2014) was prepared for the Hon Paul Goldsmith when he became our responsible minister in late 2014.  This document provides a short overview on the FMA, including: who we are; our role and governance; our regulatory focus; and an update on near and medium-term regulatory and policy issues.
