To take into account the changes brought about by the Auditor Regulation Amendment Act 2014 which came into effect on 1 July, we propose to amend the Auditor Regulation Act (Prescribed Minimum Standards for Licensed Auditors and Registered Firms) Notice 2012 (Notice).

We are required to consult with people who represent the views of licensed auditors, and those who will be substantially affected by the proposed changes to the Notice.
